Our History

Before The First World War, before the sinking of the Titanic, one year after the death of Queen Victoria, T. H. Dalling the tobacconist was established.

More than 120 years later, after hundreds of other tobacconists have gone by the wayside, T. H. Dalling remains as one of Britain's oldest tobacconists. Crucially - and without doubt a secret to our success - is that we have retained our traditional approach to business and to our customers.

Situated on Burns Statue Square, just in between the High Street and Ayr central train station, T. H. Dalling occupies the same premises at number 5 as it did when it was first established all those years ago.
