Situated in the heart of Ayr on Burns Square, T H Dalling is a wonderful niche transporting patrons through the culture of "cigar". Dalling stocks cigars and all necessary accessories, including a select choice of single malts and a room dedicated to Cuban and Central American cigars. Bravo.

I ordered a H. Upmann Magnum 54 Havana Cuban cigar online from the shop about a week ago and paid £5 delivery from Ayr to Troon, I called the shop about 4 days later to enquire why my cigar hadn’t arrived yet to be told quite rudely that I couldn’t possibly have ordered online as the website isn’t live yet? The woman then asked me what I had ordered and said she would get it delivered, no apology whatsoever and I wonder if I hadn’t enquired if my cigar would have actually been sent. When it arrived by the Royal Mail postman the expensive cigar was wrapped in cardboard which was burst open, no plastic tube to protect it? Could quite easily have been damaged. Very disappointing experience.

This place deserves its longevity and iconic status in Ayr. Lovely staff, product range is amazing for such a small place. New staff in rhe last week or two, and they fit the place very well. Only place we buy tobacco products

I’ve known their manager, Rhys, for some years now and his work ethics are impeccable. All products are carefully inspected and maintained, with fair prices and superb customer care. I’m very happy with all my orders so far and I’ll keep coming back to them for more!

I have used the store a couple of times. The advice and hospitality has been brilliant with the online purchases. The knowledge of tobacco and cigars is phenomenal and i would recommend this place to anyone, either new to cigars or a seasoned veteran of them. Because they'll be able to find something for you, or something new!

Really great experience. Rhys took the time out to explain so much to me, and also recommended a great selection of cigars to build my palete on. Each cigar was fantastic, as well as educational. I also came away with a humidifier which Rhys explained how to treat and use very well. Would use as a regular cigar shop.

Stopped in here on a trip to the beach, picked up some cigars to enjoy on my walk. Rhys was fantastic at helping me choose which cigars, very knowledgeable and friendly. The shop itself is beautiful, a real classic tobacconist. Will definitely pop back in on my next trip to Ayr!
